Are You Prepared For The What If’s?

When I got married 15 years ago, I never thought for a moment that I would be dealing with a messy divorce case, but unfortunately, my happily ever after didn't turn out to be so happy after all. Lucky for me, I was able to find a very qualified divorce lawyer to help me secure a fair divorce settlement and finally begin to move forward with my life. While my divorce case is now securely in my past, I often think about how much I learned during this legal process and how poorly prepared I was to legally protect my assets.
